The days are getting shorter, it soon gets colder and the weather is not so nice anymore. Fortunately, we naturally have the beautiful winter lighting that decorates Deventer every year. Will you walk with us to discover it all?

Photowalk in Deventer.

Deventer has a beautiful historic city center with beautiful unique and old buildings. It is also illuminated with beautiful lighting in winter. We start at Hotel Finch on Keizerstraat. This is where the splendor of all Christmas lights and lights starts right away. Then we go to the Brink and the Grote Kerkhof. There is plenty to see here and we will also find beautiful moments along the way. Prior to the walk, we will give some tips on how to make good compositions and what can yield beautiful photos. It is useful to bring both a wide-angle lens and a zoom lens for variety. There will also be time during the walk to go deeper into the matter because it is a small group.

Accessibility

Our starting location is easily accessible by public transport and is only a few hundred meters walk from Central station. The parking lot behind the Hema is also around the corner. If you are completely sporty, you can leave your bicycle in the shed next to the parking lot.

Necessities

If you participate in a Photowalk during the day, you only need a camera. This can even be a smartphone! If you are running at night, other necessities are important such as:

A camera that you can set completely manually

Sturdy tripod

Remote control or cable release (optional)

We shoot with a slow shutter speed. Without a tripod it becomes very difficult to get sharp photos. Do you not have a tripod or are you unsure whether the tripod is suitable? Then it is possible to rent a tripod. You can contact us for this.

The price

The price for this photowalk is 25 euros per person. It is possible to order for several people. But of course there is a maximum number of people that can join. So check the stock. Often multiple dates are available. Tip: the Walk is also very nice as a gift 🙂

What does a Photowalk entail?

You walk through the city with a nice group of fellow photographers while you photograph the most beautiful places. Don't you like walking around town alone with your equipment? Or do you simply not like it? Then participating in a Photowalk is ideal! During the Photowalk you will also receive useful tips and tricks from a professional. So you not only come home with beautiful images, you also go home with more knowledge than before.

Let op: Bij deze walk zullen we ook een stukje theorie aanbieden zodat je maximaal uit de avond kan halen qua mogelijkheden. 

De dagen worden korter, het wordt al snel kouder en het weer is ook niet meer zo mooi. Gelukkig hebben we natuurlijk de prachtige winterverlichting die Deventer siert ieder jaar. Loop je met ons me om het allemaal te ontdekken?

Deventer heeft een prachtige historische binnenstad met mooie unieke en oude gebouwen. Ook wordt deze uitgelicht met prachtige verlichting in de winter.  We gaan van start bij Hotel Finch aan de Keizerstraat. Hier begint de pracht van alle kerst verlichting en lampjes dan ook al gelijk. Daarna gaan we naar de Brink en het Grote Kerkhof. Hier is genoeg te zien en ook onderweg zullen we nog mooie momenten gaan vinden. Voorafgaand aan de walk zullen wij wat tips geven voor het maken van goede composities en wat mooie foto’s kan opleveren. Het is handig om zowel een wide-angle lens als een zoomlens mee te nemen voor variatie.  Ook zal er tijdens de walk tijd zijn om dieper op materie in te gaan zijn omdat het een kleine groep is.

Bereikbaarheid

Onze start locatie is goed te bereiken met het openbare vervoer en is maar enkele honderd meters lopen van het Centraal station. Ook is de parkeerplaats achter de Hema om de hoek. Ben je helemaal sportief dan kan je je fiets in de stalling naast de parking kwijt.

Benodigdheden

Als je aan een Photowalk overdag deelneemt heb je alleen een camera nodig. Dit mag zelfs een smartphone zijn! Als je ‘s avonds meeloopt zijn er andere benodigdheden belangrijk zoals:

• Een camera die je volledig handmatig in kunt stellen

• Stevig statief

• Afstandsbediening of draadontspanner (optioneel)

We fotograferen met een lange sluitertijd. Zonder een statief wordt het ontzettend lastig om scherpe foto’s te krijgen. Heb je geen statief of twijfel je of het statief geschikt is? Dan is het mogelijk om een statief te huren.

De Prijs

De prijs voor deze photowalk is 25 euro per persoon. Het is mogelijk voor meerdere personen te bestellen. Maar er is natuurlijk wel een maximaal aantal personen dat mee kan. Let even of de voorraad dus. Vaak zijn er meerdere data beschikbaar. Tip: de Walk is ook erg leuk als cadeau 🙂
