Alpe di Siusi | Mont Sëuc with the Canon R5.

Photographing the Dolomites.

Alpe di Siusi is one of the most beautiful mountain ranges there is. The peaks of the Alpe di Siusi are just fantastic.

Canon R5, Canon 24-105 F4 RF.
Iso100, F11, 1/40th.

We stayed in a hotel at the beginning of the valley, we could drive up anytime of the day (or night) instead of being forced to take to cable car. BUT! When we arrived, we saw that we couldn’t use the car to drive into the valley and to the view point.

To get to the viewpoint, it’s a 1.5h walk from the hotel! But, it’s an easy hike as it’s doesn’t have that many altitude differences.
A few tips for visiting this location:
- Absolutely! don’t drive further unless you have a reservation for one the hotels / hutte in the area! Otherwise, it’s going to cost you €350,-!
- Get a hotel room at the top or in the valley, so you don’t have to use the cable cars.
- Rent some bikes at the hotel! You can even rent electric bikes!

Below are some of the images I have taken with the Canon R5 + RF 24-105/4 or RF 15-30/2.8.
